Cropping an image
Cropping removes unwanted edges so the subject fills the frame. This tool crops by coordinates, which is precise and works well on a phone.
How to use it
- Choose an image
- Enter the X and Y position of the top-left corner of the crop
- Enter the width and height you want
- Download the cropped PNG
Where crop values come from
X and Y are measured in pixels from the top-left of the image. If your crop is larger than the remaining space, the tool shrinks it to fit.
Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded?
No, cropping happens in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
What format is the result?
A PNG, which keeps quality. Convert it afterwards if you need a smaller JPEG.
Can I crop a circle?
Not directly, but you can crop a square and round the corners in a photo editor.
