What you can put in a QR code
A QR code stores text that a phone camera can read. The most common use is a link, but you can encode almost anything:
- A website or landing page URL
- Wi-Fi login details
- Contact details (vCard)
- Plain text notes or coupon codes
Tips for scannable codes
Keep the encoded text short. The more characters you add, the denser the pattern becomes and the harder it is for a camera to read at a distance. Print codes at least 2 cm square and leave a clear margin around them.
